What is the goal of the new Technology Resource Teacher Position?
A. The Resource Teacher position is designed to collaboratively provide instruction in the Computer Lab with teachers and students (K-5) in curricula using technology to enhance the learning process. To lead, research, implement and provide efficient and effective integration of technology into Simonds classrooms and technology lab by empowering teachers with skills to enhance the teaching and learning environment. While the new Technology Resource Teacher position is designed to enhance the Technology program at Simonds, there are specific areas of development, including: * Identification of curriculum for Technology supporting each grade level; * Additional work with the Simonds Faculty regarding integrating technology based projects into their classroom; * Maximize lab utilization.
