What is the goal of the National Breast & Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program?
The Breast and Cervical Cancer Mortality Prevention Act (P.L. 101-354) was enacted into law in 1990. This Act established the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP), administered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
