Brady bill is still in effect. Brady bill has effectively stopped 1.4 million people from buying guns legally in this country. We’re pushing to strengthen the Brady bill by making sure that more records of prohibited persons are in the Federal database, so that people like the Virginia Tech killer won’t be able to buy a gun legally. We also want to make sure that the Brady bill is extended to apply to all sales of guns, so that we make it even harder for dangerous people to get dangerous weapons in this country.
