What is the goal of Bofoki Charity Publishing?
The goal of Bofoki is to prepare and equip children for an independent future and find alternate sources of income. Each child interested in writing, singing, painting and artistic work receives education and training, according to their individual preferences and skills. So when the time comes to leave the SOS children’s village, their homes, basic schools or whatever circumstances the children are confronted with, they are able to stand on their own feet and achieve the goals of self-reliance, financial independence and social integration. Of course there are many other ways to make a living than publishing artwork or creating songs, but Bofoki recognised the potential of the virtual unlimited creativity of each child, independent of the current education level, and the need of expressing the concerns of so many children in this world.
