What is the GO Ventura! E-purse and where can they be purchased?
The GO VENTURA! E-purse is similar to a phone card that holds a prepaid dollar amount, making it the ideal pass for the person that uses the bus occasionally. There is a discount over the regular fares and it is good until the value is reduced to zero (no time limit on usage). As you tap your card on the reader, the fare is deducted and you will be notified when your card holds less than $5. E-purse cards may be purchased at the Public Works Department customer service counter, and you may add money to your E-purse card on Thousand Oaks Transit and other participating bus systems.
