What is the Global Programme on Health Promotion Effectiveness?
The GPHPE is a multi-partner project co-ordinated by the International Union for Health Promotion and Education in collaboration with the WHO and it aims to raise the standards of health promoting policy-making and practice world-wide by: • reviewing and building evidence of effectiveness in terms of health, social, economic and political impact; • translating evidence to policy makers, teachers, practitioners, researchers; and • stimulating debate on the nature of evidence of effectiveness.
