The GIG, or Grid Infrastructure Group, is a team of roughly 40 individuals responsible for guiding TeraGrid architecture, software integration, management and operation, and user support. The GIG is organized into four areas, each with an area director: Software Integration, User Support, Community Engagement through Science Gateways, and Operations, Networking and Security.
