What is The George Washington University Inaugural Ball?
The GW Inaugural Ball is a black tie invited ball hosted by President Steven Knapp on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2009. The ball celebrates the swearing in of the newly elected President and Vice President of the United States. Inauguration Day is a holiday in the District of Columbia and, therefore, for the University as well. Come celebrate Washington, DC’s most glamorous tradition with President Knapp and The George Washington University community. The event will begin at eight o’clock in the evening and continue until midnight.
