Midway is a small community outside of Marvell. The East End is a long, narrow road on the East side of Marvell. Santuck is a subdividion outside of Marvell where many potholes are located. Ward Street is the local hang-out spot during the summer in Marvell. The BGACDC Manor, also called “The Projects” are located beside Marvell Elementary School, is a housing development that also includes a section for the elderly called “The Old Folks Apartments.” There is a store in the Manor called Ms. Cunningham’s. Marvell has four corner “hood” stores called Ms. Jones’, Mr. Chris’, Ms. Townes’, and Ms. Betty’s.
