What is the geodetic accuracy of the Landsat 7 systematic corrected product?

Florence, Italy: SPIE. notes that: The geodetic accuracy of the systematically corrected image using the routinely supplied PCD-ephemeris will usually be better than 50 meters. In those cases where there is an excursion in geodetic accuracy greater than 50 meters, it appears that the use of post-processed definitive ephemeris will bring systematically corrected geodetic accuracy to within 50 meters again. In 2002, ESA/ESRIN carried out a study with the aim of assessing the impact of PCD/DEF ephemeris on product geodetic accuracy. This study confirmed the assertions made by Barker et al (above).
