The generic Plavix was manufactured in Canada by Apo-tex then the US blocked it’s distribution. The patent is held by Bristol-Myer Squib.I googled it and the generic version was initially available until the company went to court to stop it”s distribution. There are many conflicting articles about the distribution of Plavix. I think you should contact your pharmacy for a correct answer because I couldn’t find one.
