What is the General Studies Degree Program?
The General Studies Degree Program is designed to meet the unique needs of adult learners. This includes adults who have never attended college, those who had some college long ago or in the recent past, and those adults who have been attending college for a long time but are not making progress toward graduation. General Studies is an interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences degree program that does not have a major. Students are allowed to have minors, earn certificates, and are expected to get broad experience in many areas. For additional information, see General Studies.
