Allocation of vacancies is made as and when the vacancies are reported by the CPWD. Allotment to an applicant is made on the maturity of his turn on the initial or change waiting list of pool (General Pool, Ladies Pool and Tenure Pool) to which he is eligible. All vacant houses reported by the CPWD are first considered for allotment against the change waiting list and in case there are no applicants for the said area/type of accommodation, the flat is offered to senior most applicant on the initial waiting list. However, cases of compulsory shifting and temporary allotments for marriage are given priority. One out of 20 vacancies is considered for allotment on out-of-turn basis to such applicants who have been sanctioned discretionary allotment.
