What is the general definition of a real vampire, and what happens if a vamp does not feed?
A. Generally…a “vampire” is a person who NEEDS to take in either energy or blood to sustain their psychological, physical, and spiritual health. Some sites tell you that a Vampire is merely someone who CAN take in energy/blood however this is kind of stupid advice. Reason is because EVERYONE can feed on and take in energy or drink blood if they so chose too (and it causes a sort of “high” and they wind up getting addicted). HOWEVER a person who actually IS a vampire NEEDS to feed. If a person does not need then they are not a vampire. If a vamp does not feed the vampire will get very sick and health problems will arise. Some vamps are born with some medical condition that is somehow linked to their vampirism, and if the vampire does not feed, that medical condition worsens.
