What is the general atmosphere of the camp? Is it competitive?
A. Absolutely not. The philosophy of Contemporary Drums and Percussion Camp is on par with the instructors who will teach there. That is: Percussion is part of making music, and music is not a competition. But it is fun! From the large group sessions to the intimate master study groups, you will learn and share perspectives on\ drums and percussion in the most positive and professional manner. And we have found that many past attendees have stayed in touch after the camp. You can start networking by joining our group at: http://contemporarydrumcamp.ning.com There is a lot of bonding and sharing of information at the camp. It’s a great atmosphere.
