It is a testing program whereby an individual who did not complete high school may take a battery of five tests to demonstrate his or her general education competence. Upon successful completion of the GED Tests, a person then is eligible to be awarded a State of Minnesota General Educational Development Diploma by the Minnesota Department of Education.
