What is the GCC Web application?
A primary component of TIA’s Toy Safety Certification Program (TSCP), the GCC web application is a web-based platform that will provide a comprehensive workflow to help domestic manufacturers and importers of toys to the United States efficiently meet the General Certificates of Compliance (GCC) requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). The GCC web application delivers the full set of functionality required to process, publish and store electronic product safety certificates to show compliance with U.S. toy product regulations. It also provides an integrated archive for electronic copies of paper certificates to use if a company is migrating off a paper-based system. Users are the applicants for certification, including manufacturers, brands, U.S. domestic importers, and private labelers.
