The Girl Scout Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards will remain the highest awards in Girl Scouting. New guidelines, more closely aligning the awards with the new Girl Scout Leadership Experience, will be available in spring 2009. During the transition years (2008-2010), girls will have the option to continue earning the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards based on existing standards.
