What is the furry thing on Sesshomarus shoulder?
This information comes from Inuyasha Okuki Kaiden which contains extensive character profiles. What follows was written in Sesshomaru’s profile and translated from Japanese… “Fur- Although it is part of Sesshomaru’s body, the fur is of extremely luxurious quality. It has been occasionally used as an offensive weapon.” It doesn’t go so far to as it’s his tail, but the book does indicate that it is part of his body.
