What is the Fund Default Option?
Defaults available on Fund codes and Organization codes are short-cuts similar to index code functionality. Fund codes can be set-up to default an Organization code, Program code, Activity code and/or Location code. Organization codes can be set-up to default a Fund code, Program code, Activity code and/or Location code. The difference between a default and an index code, is that the user can override those codes defaulted off a Fund or Organization code. Index codes can be set-up to prevent override capability. This feature does not apply to electronic feeds.
