WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF THE PROJECTED LAND USE MAP?
The Kingman General Plan 2020 includes a Projected Land Use Map which depicts existing and potential land uses within the planning area. The map indicates a range of residential densities, commercial and industrial uses, areas for parks and open space, and various locations for public and quasi-public uses such as schools, government offices and services, and places of worship. The land use designations are based upon a number of factors, including compatibility with surrounding areas, development constraints, availability of infrastructure and access, and the need to ensure a balanced mix of land uses within the area. WHAT EFFECT WILL THE LAND USE PROJECTIONS HAVE ON PROPERTIES IN THE KINGMAN AREA?
