What is the function of a pyramid in Ancient Egyptian life?
It really only served a function to the pharaoh building the pyramid, as it was where his tomb and his ‘stairway to heaven’. His body and sometimes the bodies of his wives were laid to rest there. Other than that and perhaps the symbology of power associated with the ruling class of Egypt, it really had no other purpose in Ancient Egyptian daily life.
