Virus database upgrades are released once in 15 days. Product upgrades are released once in 3 months. Intermediate emergency releases are sometimes made, to pre-empt new viruses becoming a problem. All registered users are intimated of the releases via email. Registered users can also configure Protector Plus to regularly check the site for upgrades and automatically download and upgrade the installed version. To download upgrades afterwards you will have to renew the license. The cost of renewal for one more year is 40% of initial purchase value.
