What is the French equivalent of Travel Lodge?

The French equivalent of Travelodge is either Ibis or Campanile. (Formule 1 is another, but very cheap and basic). I prefer Ibis and there are Ibis motels in UK. If you have one close, pop in and get one of their brochures. If not, go online at www.ibishotel.com and you can find a suitably situated one on your route and book online in about 5 minutes. Most, but not all, Ibis hotels have restaurants (you can check when you book) and all serve good breakfasts but these are charged on top of the room charge which is by room, not by person. We have used Ibis motels all over France for transit stops and they are very good value.
