What is the Foundations strategy or approach in grantmaking?
The Foundation supports organizations that are working to protect and preserve our natural environment. The Foundation employs an ecumenical grantmaking strategy that encompasses different types of organizations (from grassroots groups to large national and/or international multi-issue groups), different strategic and tactical approaches public education, constituency building, training and technical assistance, administrative advocacy, media campaigns, etc.), and different funding structures (general support, project support, multi-year support, challenge support).
