What is the FORTRA installed base? How long have FORTRAs been shipping?

Initial FORTRA shipments were made in March 1999. Since that time, nearly 35,000 FORTRAs have shipped, and of course that number grows monthly. We have a fairly large installed base. It has been estimated that FORTRAs are currently supporting more than 11,000 Terabytes of storage, and of course that number continuously grows, too. Never has a disk storage “enclosure” product been as successful as FORTRA.
