WHAT IS THE FORMULA TO CALCULATE ACTUAL CFM OF AIR COMPRESSOR?

0

The CFM (cubic feet per minute) rating of an air compressor is based upon the number of strokes the air supply piston makes per minute times the amount of air the supply piston displaces on each stroke. Be aware that some air compressors use multiple pistons, and the rpm ratings may refer to the compressor drive motor, which can be different than the actual number of times the piston moves up/down since some air compressors use reduction drives beteen their drive motors and the pump assembly.
