What is the format for UCF? Is it like PDF?
UCF stands for Universal Communications Format. It is a communications format that allows the presenter to effectively and efficiently communicate rich media content to attendees in a Web-based meeting. The multiple and portable documents feature of UCF is similar to PDF in that PowerPoint presentations are stored in an efficient, cross-platform format. However, if you create an UCF file with inserted multimedia objects in PowerPoint presentations, the multimedia objects include only hyperlinks to the media files (similar to hyperlinks on a Web page), so that the media files themselves are not converted and embedded as part of the *.ucf file.
