What is the format for numerically generating my frontal bulletin?
Look in the Digital Atmosphere help file under Data Commands > Frontal Bulletin. Towards the bottom you will see a sample frontal bulletin. You will need to follow this format. The 111118Z means the data is valid 11 (Nov) 11 (date) at 18Z. To generate a high pressure area, put HIGHS and repeat for each additional center. To generate a low pressure, put LOWS and repeat the above format. To plot a front, use COLD, WARM, STNRY, OCFNT, or TROF followed by WK (for weak; Digital Atmosphere does not use this value but expects it), followed by and so forth to delineate the positions defining the front. Do not put WK after TROF. The group is simply the integer latitude and longitude merged together into a number (for example 35N 98W is 3598). Important: for the southern or eastern hemispheres, DO NOT use negative symbols; you must instead add 400 to the longitude number and for the southern hemisphere you must add 200 to the latitude number (for example 35S 98E is 235498).
