The coach should formally notify the League Coordinator with details of any incident and witness contact information, preferably within 24 hours of the incident. The League Coordinator is responsible for conducting the investigation and addressing the situation. The coach is ultimately responsible for the conduct of his assistant coaches, players and teams parents. Please note that because this is an open league where players and coaches have choices, WCBYS does not designate coaches and therefore is not responsible for coaches teaching methods or conduct. If a problem arises between a parent or player and coach, they are asked to address the situation independently in a tactful manner. Only the umpire will have the authority to remove a coach during a game for disruptive conduct.
