What is the Food Hygiene Star Rating pilot scheme being run by Derby City Council?
The scheme is a Food Hygiene Star Rating pilot project, commonly known as “scores on doors” or “scores on the doors” that is being run in conjunction with the Food Standards Agency. The scheme provides information to the public about hygiene standards in food businesses in Derby. The public will be able to access information on when a premises was last inspected by a Food Safety Officer and how the premises was rated for food hygiene. The rating will be indicated using a star rating system from 0 to 5 stars.
