The Fogarty Institute for Innovation is a non-profit that teaches physicians and engineers the skills and methodology necessary to translate their ideas into new patient therapies. The Fogarty Institute of Innovation is located on the premises of El Camino Hospital. The partnership has the intent to allow easy translation of medical devices from research into medical practice.
