What is the focus of the NEP-2 Program?
The primary focus of the NEP-2 program is on the tools, architectures, standards and interfaces that are an integral part of a research platform, since these are the things that follow directly from the objectives defined in CANARIE’s funding agreement with Industry Canada. However, indirectly the formation of the distributed community of users that builds the network-enabled platform, including developing the architecture that enables their collaboration, is also of significant interest.
