The first DeVenCI technology sector initiative, Information Technology (IT), is focused on identifying and accelerating the transfer of information technologies that move the DoD towards a network-centered model of warfighting and improve support for the DoD’s Global Information Grid. This initiative is lead by the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Networks & Information Integration / Department of Defense Chief Information Officer (ASD(NII)/DoD CIO).
