A flow disc regulates the flow (not the pressure) of water into the soaker hose. This ensures equal water distribution from end to end. You would use a flow disc when you are receiving more water at the beginning of your soaker hose run. Available in different sizes for different lengths of soaker hose (1/2 GPM 50′ – 99′, 1 GPM 100′ – 199′ and 2 GPM 200′ – 400′).
