What is the floating blue line off-side rule?
In ice hockey to enter the defensive zone, the puck must cross the blue line before all attacking players, when you cross blue line – the offensive zone is blue line inward. In ball hockey you enter the zone the same way, except when you cross the blue line, the attacking zone is from red line inward, which lengthen the offensive zone and promotes more offense and scoring opportunities.
