The City of Reno, Fleet Management has an annual maintenance and repairs operating budget of $2.1 million. In 2006, Fleet generated $338,000 from the sale of surplus City vehicles and equipment and generated $436,000 from the contractual maintenance services provided to TMWA, UNR, TMCC and the Reno Housing Authority. The capital budget for Fleet is 3.5 million used to purchase new vehicles and equipment to replace older vehicles and equipment.
