What is the “flaring technique” in applying FlexDeck?
FlexDeck is best installed when there are little or no exposed edges. Due to the depth at which FlexDeck is installed, there could be locations where the FlexDeck surface could be higher than some areas at which it meets. For Example, this is a common occurrence when FlexDeck meets the edge of the tile border around a swimming pool. In order to eliminate the exposed FlexDeck edge, a narrow groove is ground along the tile line at an angle that allows the FlexDeck to tuck into the groove and against the now exposed tile line.
