What is the first step in using Interlibrary Loan?
Before you submit a request to ILL for a book or article you need to: • Check ALICE to make sure it is not available locally. • For books, check the OhioLINK Central Catalog. If there are no AVAILALBE copies, you can submit your request to ILL. To make the request you need the author, title, publisher, and year. • For journals not owned by Ohio University submit your request to ILL. To make the request you need the author, article title, name of journal or periodical, volume, number, date, and pages.
