WHAT IS THE FINE FOR AN OVERDUE BOOK?

0

$.05/day per book. Renewals or new book checkouts will be permitted when there is a fine less than $5.00. If fines total $5.00 or more, than overdues must be paid, either in full or partially. If the new amount lowers the fine below $5.00 the materials can then be renewed or checked out. NOTE: In the case of a lost book you will be charged the cost for the Library to replace the book AND a $15.00 replacement service charge. If a current replacement cost cannot be determined a flat rate of $50.00, PLUS a replacement service charge of $15.00, will be charged. The names of those people, with outstanding unpaid fines, unpaid damaged book charges, and/or for overdue books that have not been returned to the Library will be sent to the College’s Registrar. The Registrar will withhold diplomas and transcripts until said fines are paid in full and/or overdue book(s) are returned or appropriate replacement payments have been made to the Library.
