What is the financial arrangement between the chapter, teachers, volunteers and non-profits?
The chapter raises around $1,500 from local clubs such as Rotary, Lions and Kiwanis or the local senior center of RSVP, which will enable it to fund four classes. With that funding, the chapter, AS A THANK YOU ONLY, pays the VOLUNTEER Teacher $200 per 9 hours of training, pays $20 for supplies and pays the VOLUNTEER Program Coordinator $100 per class quarter for 10 hours of administrative effort. The founder receives no remuneration.
