What is the Film Offices marketing role?
A. A Film Offfice markets its jurisdiction to the production community to encourage clients to bring their on-location filming to that community. The community benefits economically from on-location spending, as well as the residual benefit when locations featured in print, film and television become visitor destinations, leaving a lasting economic impact. We attend trade shows, make sales calls, place advertising, print a film brochure, and mail sales kits to various production companies and film & television projects. The Film Office also markets the local community to the production community through its production resource guide and federal, city & private property location submissions.
