Federal College Work-Study is a need-based Federal financial aid program, which provides jobs for undergraduate students. The program allows the students to earn money or to help pay education expenses. How will I be paid? College Work-study students are paid by the hour, once a month. The school must pay you directly, unless you request that the school make payments to the school account balance for your institutional charges such as tuition, fees, and/or room & board. How do I apply for the Federal College Work-study Program? Every January, you MUST complete the Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We will consider you for Federal college Work-study if you demonstrate financial need, check that you’re interested in Federal College Work-study, and file by the SAC priority deadline.
