What is the FCC Drama Ministry?
The purpose of FCC’s Drama Ministry is to enhance the artistic level and emotional impact of the Weekend Services through the use of brief character sketches that create a high degree of audience identification. The ministry also purposes to build a community of artists, connected through small groups, in order to provide dramatic training and the opportunity to refine the gifts that God has given them. [Top] Who Can Be Involved? Unless you’re a Shakespearian trained, semi-professional actor who has acted in at least two movies, or a TV mini-series, don’t bother. No. That’s not true at all. We’re looking for people who exhibit dramatic talent, poise, range of emotion, humor, and sincerity. [Top] When Do We Meet? As a group, the Drama Team schedules rehearsals as necessary depending on upcoming performances. [Top] Why Drama? If you’re like many people, you grew up thinking that church is not a place for fooling around. And so maybe you’re wondering why a church would have a drama team.
