It now holds the following titles: World’s Fastest Late-Model Production V-8 World’s Fastest Gasoline-Powered Mustang World’s Fastest Production Mustang Unofficially, the owner of Hajek Motorsports, Brent Hajek, flew down the Bonneville Salt Flats in an E-85 converted Mustang FR500C at a ridiculous speed of over 252 mph. A mechanical failure prevented it from making the validation run.
