It can grow up to 18 feet in the first year and up to 25 feet within the first three years. The tree blooms beautiful lavender flowers in the spring. The canopy provides dense shade in the summer while letting in sunlight during the winter. This is the easiest tree to grow and no significant disese or insect problems are associated with the tree. Would it grow well in an Arkansas climate—humid, hot, sometimes wet, sometimes dry, mild winters—unless we have another ice storm like this one this past spring. Total Answers: 1, Total Page View
