What is the Fanatics Plaza?
The Lord of the Rings Fanatics Plaza is the site within the Lord of the Rings Fanatics Network that allows Lord of the Rings and Tolkien Fanatics from all over the world, from every age and background, to interact and share in their passion for Middle-earth. The Plaza is meant as a gathering place where people can exchange opinions, discuss issues, trade products, play roleplaying games, exchange trivia questions, battle each other and much more. To make this more fun and to give it more structure, the Plaza works with a detailed system of Points and Ranks. This system basically enables members to obtain so-called Fanatic Points, upgrade their Rank within the Plaza and thus gain more privileges. This gives the Plaza a more RolePlayingGame element that makes it so attractive to its many members.
