You can adjust f-stop in 1/3 steps. The iris control motors actually have more precision then this but we went with the standard adjustments you would get on your Canon camera. There is an LCD readout of your current f-stop also just like you would have on a Canon camera so you will be able to take note of it if you need to keep on set data of your shoot settings.
