What is the Extra Renderer license?
The Extra Renderer license is meant for people who already have Vue 6 xStream for one application, and want to integrate their Vue environments into another application, or render the Vue environments using another renderer. Example: a studio has Vue 6 xStream for Maya|MentalRay, but they also want to render Vue environments using Maya|Software and LightWave. They don’t need to buy more Vue 6 xStream licenses. All they need is an Extra Renderer License for each one of these configurations (one for Maya|Software and one for LightWave). Extra Renderer Licenses are a lot cheaper than full licenses.
