The “Extend to Defend” program is a new program developed to recognize soldiers re-enlisting into the National Guard. Soldiers are recognized within the following levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Soldiers are awarded with items including certificates, coins, and a hooded sweatshirt. Items depend on years served and how many years the soldier is re-enlisting. Spouses are also recognized.
